I can remember only the particulars, no names no actors. An affluent family son, brings home his new bride and the Mother is very dismayed. A son is born who grows up to be an attorney. The mother-in-law finds a scarf at another mans home and suggests she will ruin the brides life if she does not leave her son and husband. The woman leaves her family, turns in to an alcoholic, murders her lover and ends up with her son as council. This was a real tear jerker for me as a teen, some 35 years ago. Can any one provide me with a name, please?
