I saw "TCM Remembers" and immediately realized that this depressing, disrespectful, and confusing piece was aimed to developing new, younger viewers. This piece really lowered the standards of TCM and makes me afraid that the new younger generation is going to get a foothold in TCM and changes its concept...the younger generation whose sensibilities are not aroused our satisfield unless something gross and shown. We don't need no stinkin' obscure, downer, ugly, sensationalistic visual backgrounds to make the viewers appreciate the deaths of the artists that we know and love. The view of the toilet was the clincher. TCM, what are you doing???? I depend on you, don't mutate like AMC did. What's next???? Commercials? No more black and white movies??????
