Thanks for the info Mongo I was so hoping not to hear that she had passed away after I posted. There is no other Sheey Winters that is for sure I've always liked her. Thanks again.

please bear with me when I read 2 posters discussing Shirley MacClaine's doings or possible doings with co-stars it made me think of Shelly. One poster talked of Shirley mentioning a close relationship with her co-stars in the Private Screenings shown on Shirley's day. I have read the sequel to her best selling book which Shelly laments she was to willing to tell her personal bussiness and this is what Johnny Carson and anyone else who interviewed her wanted to talk about. So she tried to be more careful in the next book. My question is does anyone know how Shelly Winters is doing? I hope well. How old is she and how is her daughter doing?

No path Clue#4 POP goes the Champagne -
I know that they feature main actor festivals and highlight great character actors but how about a festival of these like the films of Hattie McDaniel, the guy who played Scarlett's father in GWTW, Marjorie Main, Keenan Wynn and others. Do you think there enough movies to do this?

buderw170-did he rally say that? Wow talk about a missstake Maybe it was a lightheaded moment to cast Rock does anyone know if it was a serious consideration? My stomach turned inside out when I read that bunderw170. I could never get use to Rock's southern accent when he vamped it for Day in Pillow Talk and when he did it seriously for Giant. He was just not built to play an aging southern gentleman it wouldn't have fit him IMHO. -

BTW I told my son of the mistake he politely listened-poor children exposed to classic movies and old Country Music-once the kids cornered a green snake and home he went named him Bocephus. Thanks for listening guys. -

Man what a mistake that would have been Stewart and Kelly in Designing Woman. I have to post that I own the CD Minnelli on Minnelli which is wonderful well they list V.Minnelli"s filmography and put Designing Woman down as Designing Women like the TV show. Wonder if anyone else noticed I mean at the factory or record company. The only reason I esp. checked is Robert Osbourne commented on it Emphasing it was Woman not Women one night. That Robert what a teacher. -

I haven't been on in awhile and didn't see this section till I read about it in a post by moirafinne-thanks TCM. Maybe next time you can when you add a new feature put it more prominent a location-just a suggestion and then move it down below or have a new feature flash for awhile to catch someone's attention......gwtwbooklover

How about the line in Dr. Stragelove where the characters are told they can't fight in the war room-how hilarious.

Stoneyburke666 I am so glad to read someone who feels the same way I do about Green Acres as I do- What a Class act LOOOVE that show at times it is like The Thin Man movies set in a barnyard. It is so believable esp. with Gabor and Albert heading the cast and all the other characters who make an "out there show" truly believable. Albert, Gabor and the others took such care in making this show a unique show of shows. I like Albert in the Brother Rat movies-he looks so young in these-what was the name of the baby Albert's character had in the Brother Rat movie? Anyone? I didn't know there was a nursing home for old movie stars learn something new everyday-huh.

barry you could see this scene at my house if I was trying to set up said equipment-it jars a memory though did the screen fall over on the one who is trying to hang the screen covering them like a blanket would? Maybe it was as ML said a short or an Abbott and Costello skit or a 3 Stooges bit? -
Bless your heart oz and good luck.. maybe dad will be contented with the video Thriller by Michael Jackson which Vincent speaks in.....bet you can find that easy. LOL gwtwbooklover
