Jim, I agree with you. I don't feel that there's anything offensive about "Song of the South". There isn't any commotion over "Gone with the Wind", so why this movie ??!!??

There was a Pre-Code Hollywood movie series running at the FIlm Forum in New York City (www.filmforum.org) throughout the month of July -- this was one of the films that was shown. I was bummed out because I would have liked to have seen it and was actually in NYC on business....but couldn't get away !!!

I'd love to see any of the movies starring the "Andrews Sisters"...most of them are only about 60 minutes long..par for the 1940's Universal B's. The prints available on video are usually very poor. Hey...what about a Universal B-fest ??? Dave

Hi, Could anyone tell me where I might be able to obtain a copy of "Blondie Johnson" on either video or DVD ? I checked the TCM listings, but it's not scheduled to be aired -- I have heard that it has been shown in the past. I collect movie posters and was fortunate to pick up the title lobby card for this film -- I like to have copies of the movies that I own the posters for. Thanks for any help you can provide. Dave
