Yes, Black and White films are beautiful...I often prefer B&W to Technicolor (Not always but often) I just think of some movies like The Philadelphia Story...Would that movie have been quite the same if it were in color? Like the scene when Katharine Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart are beside the pool at night...the black and white film just adds a certain warmness to that scene that makes it stand out in my mind.

Hi Kim! Glad to see someone else (in my age group)who is interested in the same thing! I think I may take that course at my local college and perhaps transfer from there to somewhere else that has a class specializing in what I want to do...I guess I'll just see what happens! Hello! I am 18 years old, and am about to embark on my college career. I would like to become a film preservationist/historian, and I am not sure what courses or major that I should take.
