  1. Great idea TopBilled.  I really love the title of your thread too.  Winter Under The Stars and if TCM acquired such thing?  We would get Winter Under The Stars and Summer Under The Stars.  Love it.  Keep it goin and try also requesting it in my thread.  Called What Would You Like To See On TCM In 2021 and if you come up with any creative  ideas we could maybe work on together here on the message boards?  Like we are for Rick Moranis?  Let me know.  Ok buddy.  Happy New Year to you and everybody.

  2. What would you like to see on TCM in 2021?

I think I would like to see Danny Kaye.  Pretty please with sugar on top.

    Bob Hope.

    Leslie Nielsen.

    jimmy Durante.

    Shirley Booth.

    Jim Backus and

Abbott And Costello all as SOTM.

    Another Alfred Hitchcock event.

    Mel Brooks.

    Tim Allen.

    The Muppets.

    Jimmy Fallon.

    Stephen Colbert.

    James Corden and

Rick Moranis all as Guest Programmers.  I bet TopBilled would like that too.

Essentials Jr and Lenoared Malton with another event.

  3. I really love Christmas.  It’s my very favorite holiday.  I always watch Free Form’s 25 Days Of Christmas every year.  Which was ABC Family’s 25 Days Of Christmas before it became Free Form of course and in 2018.  Blair Underwood became the host as Free Form Santa and he does a really wonderful and really amazing job.  He’s great.  I really love him a whole lot.  I hope they have him host forever and I watch every single Christmas movie and special in the book.  Including all the Christmas classics here on TCM and guess what?  If you want to listen on YouTube?  The Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol Radio Show with John Barrymore and Orson Wells from 1939 is on.  That Robert Osbourne was talking about.  I think I’m going to listen to it today.  I think it will be so neat and so cool.  I also always go see Santa and had a zoom with him this year and one of my very favorite things about Christmas is waking up Christmas morning and opening presents.  Because when you open presents.  You have no idea what you’re going to get and you’re always so happy with what you get.  When it’s a surprise too.  I always watch The Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade too.  On ABC.  Happy Holidays Everybody.

  4. Ok.  Thanks for the info.  The other day I was actually thinking who could be the new host of Jeopardy and it’s alright if People disagree with me.  I think Drew Carey would be a great replacement and new host for Alex Trebek.  He could speak for him and pay tribute to him too and he hosted Power Of 10 and took over for Bob Barker and became the new host of The Price Is Right on CBS.  So I think he would be a great replacement for Alex Trebek and new host of Jeopardy too.

  5. This is so sad.  Alex Trebek was the host of Jeopardy for many years and an Icon.  I remember when he hosted TCM Spotlight On Africa.  He had been to several TCM Classic Film Festivals and on TCM Classic Cruises.  He and Robert Osbourne were really great friends.  They’re probably together in heaven right now.  He also surprised him at the TCM Classic Film Festival for the 20th Anniversary.  Remember and what else did he do here at TCM?  Was he a TCM Guest Programmer?  I think everything he did here at TCM should be included as part of a tribute to him this year after the Holidays and Christmas.  If they decide to pay tribute to him.  He will really be missed.  We all really loved him a whole lot.  Didn’t we?  RIP Alex.  We all really love you a whole lot and we’ll all really miss you a whole lot.

  6. This is so sad too.  Helen Ready was great too.  She was a singer and actress.  She’ll really be missed too.  I really loved her a whole lot too.  I remember her from Disney’s Pete’s Dragon.  The original  from 1977.  Which Lenoared Malton also showed as part of Treasures From The Disney Vault.  Another great movie ha?  I’ve really loved it a whole lot ever since I was a kid.  She was Nora and besides her.  Really wonderful.  Big and amazing cast too.  I really love all the stars in this movie a whole lot.  Will there be a tribute to Helen Ready?

  7. So sad.  He was a really wonderful actor and one of my very favorite Bonds also.  He played the role very well.  I’ve got two favorite Bonds.  Sir Sean Connery and Roger Moore.  But if I were to only pick one?  It would be Sir Sean Connery.  He’ll really be missed and I was thinking the night before last.  That you could probably call him a Bond treasure.  A friend of mine whose favorite movie was Walt Disney’s Darby O Gill And The Little People.  Which Lenoared Malton showed as part of Treasures From The Disney Vault of course.  That was one of my friends favorite movies of Sir Sean’s and he said that it was one of the first ones he ever made and Lenoared Malton said that he actually became Bond ten years later.  I remember when he was SOTM.  There will probably be a tribute to him during the memorial tributes next month right after the Holidays and Christmas right?  I’ll be watching and I’ve been trying to figure out.  How many movies had he done by the time he did Walt Disney’s Darby O Gill And The Little People?

  8. I think he actually mentioned that with Robert Osbourne when he was a guest programmer.  Remember?  He was great too.  Wasn’t he and maybe he also talks about horror films on his Podcast too.  I’m going to listen sometime.  I can’t wait.  I’m really looking forward to it a whole lot.  The episode with Robert Osbourne too.  The Bob Hope episode too.
