I tried looking it up. But I couldn’t find the answer. Does HBO Now cost money? I might download the app. They say it changes to HBO Max and you could also get HBO Max that way.

A while back I had this thought. What if they made a remake of Ferris Buller’s Day Off? My friend and I talked about it and we thought Zak Efron would make a great Ferris Buller and Will Ferrell would make a great Principle Edward Rooney. It’s a really funny movie too. Isn’t it? With Matthew Broderick and another one of my very favorites too and Matthew Broderick is another really wonderful actor and another really great and really funny guy too. Isn’t he and Matthew Broderick is another one of my very favorites too. I really love him a whole lot.

Yes we do and she’ll be a great SOTM for November. Won’t she? I think I did request her. If I remember right. But I’m not sure.

Do you think you could actually find Eddie Muller’s Noir Cocktail recipes? Remember. He had one with crushed Ice too.

Where do you think the perfect place would be to request a Treasures From The Disney Vault and Noir Alley board for on here?

I tried asking my Amazon Alexa this a few times. But I kind of wasn’t sure how to ask. How many movies had Sir Sean Connery made by the time he made this movie? I remember Lenoared Malton saying he got the role of Bond ten years later.

Didn’t I request for Shelly Winters to be SOTM? I know I’ve requested all kinds of stars.

Ok. Great. Thank you. I’ll decide on weather to pay or just wait. Thanks again.

When Alfred Hitchcock introduced his movie North By Northwest right in the trailer. Which is one of my very favorite movies of his. I love it. He did actually mention that you could actually take a vacation while going to see it in theaters and I think he also said it’s the trip of a lifetime. It’s a mixture of New York and Mount Rushmore and if I were to go to both New York and Mount Rushmore? It would actually be my second trip to New York. It’s a really wonderful place. I just loved it and my very first trip ever to Mount Rushmore. I think it sounds like a nice place too. So I think I’ll go for this one and Dargo. Is that a picture of the scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s Saboteur where Norman Lloyd’s falling from the Statue Of Liberty? I’ve always wanted to see that one. I don’t think it’s on on Tuesday.

Ok. I get it now. So I’m guessing that they actually brought it back to theaters. Now that some are open right? So maybe you will be able to stream it without having to pay when it’s out of the theaters. Those that are open.

Has anyone herd about what will have to happen when the all new live action Mulan comes to Disney+ on September 4th? You’ll actually have to pay for it for $29.99. Even if you’re a Disney+ subscriber. Why do you have to pay? Does it have to do with it being in the theaters for a short time before Covid-19 started? I hope you could just stream it without having to pay after a while. I want to see it.

It kind of threw me off a little this morning too. But like TopBilled said. I think everything will be fine and change is good. I don’t mind this change either.

With Charlton Heston on the scheduale again this year. Which I’m so excited about. Because I missed him last time. So I’m really looking forward to it. I can’t wait. Because he was just a really wonderful actor. Wasn’t he? So I have a few questions. Does anyone remember that made for TV movie for The Disney Channel and seen The Little Kidnappers? Where two kids discover a baby? I think it’s a lost baby and he’s the bad guy whose after the baby and tries to get the kids to tell him where it is? I’ve always wanted to see that. Maybe it’s on YouTube and has anyone seen the made for TV movie version of Treasure Island from 1990? With him as Long John Silver? I’ve always wanted to see that one too. Maybe that’s on YouTube too.

I just got two emails about the virtual conversation with Peter Bogdanovich and Ben Mainkawitz. One was a reminder and then they emailed a few minutes after. For those of you who are still really looking forward to it. It’s just been postponed. But not to worry. A new date will be announced soon. So everybody just hang in there. Ok.

The special stay at home edition was really amazing and really fantastic this year. It gave us who have never been to the festival yet. Including myself a chance to actually experience it right from home and I was just wondering. Will everything that was originally scheduled for this year actually be on the schedule for next year? As long as everything’s alright by then? Including the Back To The Future reunion with the cast and a screening of Back To The Future? I think that’s what Ben said and I just love the Back To The Future Trilogy. It’s one of my very favorites. I’m actually in the middle of it right now too. The bonus features on the first one.

Do you think the Matt Helm franchise will be in a DVD and Blu-Ray box set sometime? Sure hope so. That would make a great box set. Those movies were so funny when Dean Martin was SOTM in September of 2018. It was 2018. Wasn’t it or was it 2017? I also hope they show them here on TCM again sometime too. Because like I said. They were so funny.

Was the Charlton Heston movie Secrets Of The Incas on there by any chance? I checked the SUTS schedule for the 30th and it’s not listed. Neither is the Treasure Island made for TV movie from 1990. I thought those just maybe might have been on his schedule as TCM Premires.

How many of you are registered to attend this event this coming Thursday? I am and I’m getting all ready for it and it’s so exciting. I think it will be great. So fun and so cool. I’m really looking forward to it. I can’t wait. So I have a question. Does anyone know if we’ll need the Earthbrites app for it or could we also just logon to the website or here at TCM.com?
-
I was actually just wondering. What happened to Filmstruck? I bet there were all kinds of Classic films on there too. Including some that have never been here on TCM.
-
Jimmy Fallon.

For those of you who will be participating. Do you know if we’ll need the app for this? Of course instructions will be emailed to us soon. I’m just asking. I assume you could also logon to the website and will Alicia. Ben and Peter all be talking to us too?

Walt Disney’s The Parent Trap 2
in Films and Filmmakers
Posted
I was actually just thinking about the few sequels Walt Disney made to his movies from time to time. There’s
The Shaggy Dog.
The Shaggy D.A.
The Parent Trap and
The Parent Trap 2. I haven’t actually seen The Parent Trap 2 yet. Except for maybe parts of it. It will probably be on Disney+ eventually.
So if the parents get back together in the first one? What’s the second one actually about? If you don’t mind my asking?
