  1. Anyone catch this based on a true story flick earlier today? I thought it was an awesome film... what really intrigued me was the 'acid jazz' sort of music that primarily made up the soundtrack. Can anyone suggest some bands that sound like the music did for this film? I really enjoyed it and would like to hear more!
  2. Mr. 666, you are quite right with your assessment of "OMG I pay $130 a month for cable and the premium channels all show the same boring crap EXCEPT for TCM," which I watch even more religiously than I do EWTN, hehe. How many times has The Sum of All Fears been on in the past three months?! ...same goes for K19 - The Widowmaker and enough of Enough, too! And of course we can always count on two versions of LOTR being on at the same time. Thank God for TCM.
  3. I watched Marnie last night and was disappointed... I usually adore Hitchcock, but the acting and plot in this film left much to be desired Good thing I didn't stay up for The Patsy.
  4. Hello everyone... I'm also new to this board... I've always enjoyed old movies, even when I was a child... I'd watch Charlie Chaplin in the afternoons on the Disney Channel (back when they were still cool, anyone remember?) instead of cartoons. I like spooky/suspense/comedy-romances like The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, the Innocents, Gaslight, Topper, etc.
