I havn't seen it. . . yet, but given the plot and the small bit of things that I know about the movie could it be "The Magnificent Ambersons" directed by Orson Wells?

Well, thanks. I'm really check it out. I read that the beginning is similar to "The Royal Tenenbaums" from 2002. I loved that movie too, and I read that the director got ideas from that movie for his movie.

Was this silent or speaking? I watched part of it like a year ago, and I can't remember, and it's just killing me.

I enjoyed it, but not as well as I thought I would. Did anybody see the modern day con movie recently "Matchstick Men?" That movie was just genius, and I think that if you liked this, you could like that.

I want to check this movie out on Saturday night, but is it worth it. How good is this movie?

I've only seen a handful of silent movies.
Ace of Hearts
The Penality
Laugh, Clown, Laugh
The Adventures of Prince Achmed
Greed
But my favorite is a toss up between Laugh, Clown, Laugh, and Greed. I'm hoping that it is chosen for the DVD decision. I would very much buy it.

I saw two of those movies last night. "Invisible Man" and "Bride of Frankenstine." I rate movies from 1 to 5 and I give the first a 4 and the second a 5. "Bride of Frankenstine" was just great, and I didn't see the original, because I didn't know it was on that night, but I plan on it. Maybe it should be on again Halloween.

I stayed up ALL night when this was on at 1:45am. I'm 15, and I said, "Forget it! I want to see this. I would rather watch it for four hours at night, then all day when it is on at 10." This was an AMAZING movie. I loved it, so much. It was the fastest four hours I spent watching a movie ever! People my age who don't like movies like this are truly missing out.

I was wondering if anybody knows when they are going to release the winners of the DVD Decision 2004. They said Augest, but the month is nearing it's end, and they still havn't said anything. Thanks.
