  1. That is so awesome! A Goofy Movie is one of my faves as well, and I’m going to be venturing in to the city in a couple of days to see if my local Hot Topic has the Powerline Funko POP! available. I saw where you also did voice work on Cats Don’t Dance... I loved that movie when I was younger, and actually bought it on DVD and watched it a month or two ago. That epic ending gets me every time. I know that the film was dedicated to Gene Kelly, was he actually a choreography consultant or were his older movies studied and his dancing copied for the film?
  2. My favorite musical that I watch every couple of months is Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Mostly because I love Marilyn Monroe, of course, but also because Jane Russell’s character is so similar to me it’s scary. “The chaperone’s job is to make sure no one else has fun, but NOBODY chaperones the chaperone.” ?
  3. Do you have a subscription to the Criterion films as well? A Hard Day’s Night is available to watch, and I know that’ll come in handy when we get to the 1960s.
  4. I'm in the process of reading McGilligan's bio right now, and it is amazingly detailed, like a behind-the-scenes look at the making of each of Hitch's films. I also found a copy of one of Donald Spoto's books at a used bookstore in Jacksonville, FL, and I just realized that it's an autographed copy :-O (by Spoto, not Hitchcock, lol)
  5. Any movie directed by William Castle. He was like a B-movie version of Hitchcock, and most of his movies included silly "gimmicks," like skeletons rigged to fly thru the audiences during the showings of "House on Haunted Hill", and Joan Crawford, who starred in "Straitjacket", did a theater tour with Castle when the movie was released, and would come up to the stage swinging an axe around. Castle also directed movies such as "13 Ghosts", "Homicidal", and "13 Frightened Girls."
  6. 1. Marnie (I know, this one is really cheesy, but Tippi Hedren is great in it.) 2. Shadow of a Doubt 3. Psycho 4. The Birds 5. Dial M For Murder
