What do you think of some of the stars that went from the big screen to the small screen (i.e. Barbara Stanwyck (Big Valley) and Fred MacMurray (My Three Sons)....just these two as an example? There are more, right? I love the two in "Double Indemnity." Fred MacMurray was a good actor and I don't think he got much credit for it.

What do you guys think of the Bette Davis and Joan Crawford feud? What was it about? Did Bette really do terrible things to Joan when filming "What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?" I saw a bio once and they said Bette did something with the rat and other gross things. Is it also true that Joan faked being ill during the filming of "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte" to get out of her contract? What a pair, huh? Which actress do you think was the better of the two? I think Bette was myself.

This is a great subject to chat about. I have a few autographs myself. Shirley MacLaine was good about it. Liz Taylor, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Virginia Mayo, Carroll Baker. I did not get responses on a lot of stars. Loretta Young was one of them. All-in-all, some stars (the older ones) are pretty good about giving their autographs.

What about Rita Hayworth?

You chose great films of Miss Blyth, Matt! I just love her!

I think Elizabeth Taylor is a wonderful actress, don't you? Some of her films were not good, but quite a few were very good. I like "Cleopatra" very much. I know it's a spectacular film as far as extras etc. But all-in-all, Miss Taylor was very good.

Great film! I think Flynn had a lot of press on his private life unfortunately, but he was a very good actor.

I totally agree with you about MacMurray and Stanwyck. Stanwyck was a great actress. I love Ball of Fire. Funny film. Two great stars for certain.
