  1. I would like to see 'Hondo' and 'Kiss me Kate'. I saw them in 3D as a child and I remember thinking that they were great.
  2. Please let us know what you think of it - and if you enjoyed it, try to encourage others to visit it.
  3. Sounds like, but not completely, 'The Outrage'.
  4. Does anyone remember, back in the 80's, 3-D movies on TV? I remember that one could obtain the special glasses at various places. I was living in New York City then and they seemed to be everywhere. Does anyone out there think that it might be fun to see some 3-D movies on TV again? We have 'silent Sundays' - what about '3D Fridays or Saturdays'. I would quite like to see the flamming arrows of 'Hondo' or some other object from 'Kiss me Kate' come flying out of the TV. I appreciate that there were few, if any, class movies made in 3-D (except those mentioned above) but it might prove interesting, at least for a while.
  5. Some time ago I discovered a great website that gave the history and technical discussions on 'wide screen processes' of the 1950's. This may sound boring, but believe me, it is far from that. This website was started in 1997 and has been constantly updated as more material has become available for posting. The material is presented in an entertaining manner. If you remember the joy of seeing a film in CinemaScope, Todd AO or VistaVision in a real movie house, I recommend that you visit this site and check it out. The site is well produced and is very interesting. It may get a bit too technical at times but there is enough for the casual browser to have more than an enjoyable visit. I feel certain that anyone that takes the time to visit will not find their time wasted. The web address is www.widescreenmuseum.com
