I AM DESPERATE TO KNOW THE TITLE TO THIS MOVIE. IT STARRED DEBORAH KERR AS A BRITISH NURSE DURING WWII WHO HAD AN AFFAIR WITH AN INJURED AMERICAN OFFICER WHO I THINK WAS WILLIAM HOLDEN (PLAYS A REAL CAD). HE THEN WAS SHIPPED OUT FROM THE HOSPITAL AND SHE LATER LEARNS SHE'S PREGGIE WITH HIS BABY. SHE NEVER HEARS FROM HIM AND THEN MEETS ANOTHER VERY NICE OFFICER WHO KNOWS HER SITUATION AND LOVES HER ANYWAY AND IS WILLING TO MARRY HER. CAN'T REMEMBER THE REST. BUT I DO KNOW IT IS NEVER SHOWN BECAUSE I LOOK FOR IT DAILY. IF ANYONE KNOWS THIS MOVIE TITLE IT WOULD SURE SOLVE A 22 YEAR MYSTERY FOR ME. MY MOM, WHO WOULD HAVE KNOWN THE TITLE HAS BEEN GONE THAT LONG. SHE SHARED HER LOVE OF CLASSIC MOVIES WITH ME AT A VERY YOUNG AGE TO WHICH I AM SO GRATEFUL.

I'm new to this forum but have been a classic movie fan, per my mom, all my life and I thank her for it. I tried to instill it into my two with no luck. SHAME! I've made this for my kids since they were babies, they're now 25 & 23. They always requested "egg in the middle" when they wanted it for breakfast. My daughter and I think that is tomato sauce she adds to the pan, but peppers would be great, have to try that! It is great, made with sourdough bread, because I've eaten it that way at the Cracker Barrel restaurant near my home here in Texas. And I love the way Cher picks up her plate and smells the food before she eats it! My father-in-law always did this. In my opinion, it's one of the reasons why Cher won the Oscar for her role in this new "Classic" movie. Love this movie, love the mood, love the music.
