I am trying to remember the name of a movie I saw one rainy afternoon. It was about magazine/newspaper reporter (lady, blonde, pretty) that helps a man find his daughter that has been taken by aliens. His wife turns out to be one of them and the aliens are trying to gather all their own back together in a "town" so they can take off in a ship to go back to their planet. When they take over someone, they vacuum them up and they turn into a blue glowing ball, and float into the basement of a church, which is really their "command center".
When the aliens finally do leave all the people that they "vacuumed up" return to their former selves.
It appears to take place in the early to mid 60's.
Did I dream this crazy movie or is it real? Help is greatly appreciated.
