  1. Well, I'm not much into nor do I know much about Fashion but I like the mid to late 50's for the women and the late 30's and early 40's for the men. Those typical hats the guys wore during that time were pretty cool. Too bad they don't wear them nowadays. I think that the women had better dresses and looked better back then in the movies too. That's my 2 cents worth on this subject:)
  2. In no particular order cause I like many of them so much. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington Vertigo The Great Escape 30 Seconds Over Tokyo Dust Be My Destiny Vivacious Lady Sergeant York You Can't Take It With You Pride of the Yankees The Mortal Storm
  3. Ooops! I meant that Shadow of a Doubt was from 1944!
  4. Hitchcock was a master at making common everyday things into a gripping story of suspense, mystery or horror. Particularly with music, color and great screen shots he portrayed his inner feelings. Here is a list of my favorite Hitchcock movies. Vertigo~1958. Shadow of a Doubt~1954 The Man Who Knew Too Much~1956 Saboteur~1942 Rear Window~1954
  5. Kim Novak in Vertigo because she looks beautiful, has a sense of mystery about her and creates an emotionality in the film that was unique for a Hitchcock. The interesting thing is that she made her own character for the film, since Hitchcock wouldn't tell her who he wanted her to become. This is why she was so great. She was a creation of herself!
