[How long since TCM aired "The Informer (1935)"?]

I saw this film once and it is excellent! There are only two channels I would have watched it on - either AMC (before their format change) or TCM. AMC does show some classic films in the early morning hours - I watched the "Grapes of Wrath" on Sunday.

Are you perhaps thinking of the Twilight Zone episode entitled "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street"? It has some of the elements from "Forbidden Planet". Jack Weston and Claude Akins starred in it.

Was it Peter Ibbetson - 1935? It starred Gary Cooper and Ann Harding and I think it once was on AMC.
