I must admit that I don't know a lot of classic German films yet, because I started with American films and all of them, when they are aired on TV here, have a German dubbing, so it is almost like they are German, only they look American. But I prefer the original language. On almost every German DVD release is English a language option, so I always chose that, because it is more authentic.
Can I ask you if there are subtitles on the "FP 1 Antwortet Nicht" DVD?
What classic films have I added to my collection?
Well I have a bit of a problem remembering the English titles and don't know if it's allowed to name movies from other studios in this TCM forum. Up to what year is a film a classic film? 60s? If you tell me I'll go and make a list and look up the English titles I don't know on Imdb.
