  1. Just saw this for the first time tonight on TCM. Watched all 3 hours. The technicolor scene was amazing! I was blown away by this picture and immediately bought the Criterion Edition DVD off of Amazon for $30. I love the whole style of the movie with the Bible passages serving as the only title cards.
  2. Just wondering if anyone else has ever attended the "Cinecon" film festival in LA and what your impressions were? If you are a regular attendee I would like to correspond with you. I attended this your for the first time, myself. If you have not, and are thinking about it, I strongly recommend you do so.   3. I did..and don't regret it! In fact, I went to the TCM Film Festival April of '17 and to Cinecon 53 just this last Labor Day holiday in LA. I am now officially addicted!! Have seen classic movies on the big screen over the years at one-off events and here in Las Vegas we have the "Cinemark Classic" at the Cinemark, but seeing film after film from actual prints was the best. i encourage all to save money and make it to an actual classic movie festival.
  4. Same experience here. I don't get why they don't just offer the Now Playing downloadable through a link on the website, after all, it's already free! My guess is we live in the age where mailing lists are king. No idea or word if they will get this sorted out, but a BIG disappointment. I took Now Playing for years and they abruptly canceled the print version. Of course, I never did have much luck with Palm Coast, FL. They never sent it on time and it would often drop after I renewed sometimes. I eventually had two subscriptions because I figured if one didn't show up in the mail the other woul
