>Yes and suffered the same fate as the Hindenburg (if you get my meaning) Zzzzzzzzzz. As what usually happens to things full of hot air.

>I've heard of *99 bottles of beer on the wall" but 99 heads! Well, assuming each beer had a head, this is an example of a one-to-one correspondence. In fact, Galileo used the idea of one-to-one correspondence to prove that there are just as many natural numbers {1, 2, 3, ...} as there are squares of natural numbers {1, 4, 9, ...}. This, of course, has nothing to do with this thread ... although Galileo did get in trouble with the Church for his views ... anybody wanna pick on Galileo?

Hey hamradio, has Colonel Blimp taken off yet?
-
Yes, you're correct. And the spaceship scene at the end is footage from Forbidden Planet. One other bit of trivia: the episode was filmed on the street used in the Andy Hardy movies.

This just in ... the UA 90th Anniversary Film Festival is coming to a theater near you!

No, I meant Charlie McCarthyism.
-
Fred, you can also watch episodes here: http://www.fancast.com/tv/The-Twilight-Zone/97525/watch-it/on-fancast I don't think that episode is one of them, but there is always Willoughby.

As everyone knows, this Twilight Zone episode is just an example of McCarthyism.

>The writer, played by Claude Rains, finally goes nuts and goes and cuts off the head of his capitalist boss. So who plays the head?

I am enjoying this thread, even though it will go to hell in a hand basket.
-
>Also, it might turn out like "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street", which is an old Twilight Zone episode. Oh, how I hated the kid in that episode.

No, I really think mickee meant to compare Coulter to a boxer.

How about casting The Day The Earth Stood Still with liberals? Say, Al Gore as Gort?
-
>ANN COULTER=MICHAEL MOORER Yeah, I always suspected Ann had a pretty good hook in the ring.

>I also think "Iraq" was about spreading "corporatism". Not Oil. >C'mon......no one disagrees with that? Disagrees? I don't even know what "corporatism" is.
-
So where are we, Iraq or the arctic?
-
>have there been any movies made that reflects the Independent Party point of view? Umm .. Independence Day ?
-
Well, I agree about linking it to movies ... not sure if we need sci-fi specifically, although that would be fun.
-
>You're kidding ... right? Or, it could be you're kidding ... left
-
I'll just make a quick suggestion before the real fun starts. How about changing the title of the thread to Left Center Right? Otherwise, it sounds too "military."
-
I'll be here all weeks, folks.

We played this game as kids .. we'd all stare up at the sky, wait for someone to walk by, who would invariable stare up at the sky, then we'd leave. I think Harry Carey used a similar ruse on Edwina Booth in Trader Horn, only he was staring off into the jungle. Of course, he was just trying to shut her up. -

OK, the suspense is killing us. Did Price Waterhouse tabulate the votes yet? Were there any hanging chads? -

This would have been appropriate for April 1. -
