The lady might be Mary Brian. Here is a photo of her:

You're welcome. I recognized Lane immediately. The others are not so familiar yet. I don't believe the lady is Madge Kennedy though.
-
The guy on top is Richard Lane.

>Has he been on an "anti-pontiff" rant lately? Well, that, and the Catholic Church in general.

OK, I'll revise my list: 1. Shirley Jones 2. Shirley Eaton 3. Shirley you can't be serious -
Easy Living was loads of fun. I love Jean Arthur in anything. Great supporting cast, with William Demarest, Franklin Pangborn, Robert Greig, a small bit by Vernon Dent, and an even smaller bit by Dennis O'Keefe, The scene in the cab where Arthur and Edward Arnold argue over interest rates is hysterical. I also enjoyed the automat scenes ... brings back memories of trips to NYC when I was a kid, eating in Horn & Hardart.

Great shots, lafitte. This may lead to a whole new thread ... movie locations, then and now.

Well, Butch has a new neon sign.

No, they are still in sixth place.

That's my guess as well. The intent was to use Cincinnati as Boone City. I wonder now if the Beavers ballpark was in fact the old ballpark in Cincinnati.

I just checked the soundtrack album (yes, vinyl) notes, written by Royal S. Brown. He says some of the location photography was in Cincinnati, but does not give specifics ... that must have been where I read it.

The Major League movies were set in Cleveland, but I don't think we can call them classics. Wasn't The Best Years of Our Lives partially filmed in Cincinnati?

The hair convinced me.

Karin, if it does sound like Shock, you can watch it here and see if it looks familiar: http://www.flickbyflick.com/moviedetails.asp?e_newest=645

I wasn't aware of that website, which would have made my job a lot easier. I used the brute force method. I found a list of all RKO films at imdb.com, then started examining the cast for each one released in 1946, looking for an MM. After about 25 films, I found her name, then searched for her on google images, and came up with the photo.
