Before CineSage Jr corrects you, it's Claude _Rains_.

I love this movie, especially the fine acting of Humphrey Bogarde, Ingmar Bergman, Peter Lorreford, Hans Conried, Horace Heidt, Sydney Greenberg, and S. Z. (Cuddles) Triple Salchow.

It could be The Thing That Couldn't Die. Check here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0052289/

I'm glad you cleared that up. For a moment, I thought Wayne had confused Geraldine Fitzgerald with Barry Fitzgerald. -

Welcome to the boards. The plot sounds kind of common. Can you give us any more information? Did you see it on TV or in the movies, and approximately when? Color? Black & White? -
O'Hara, Maureen. The Quiet Man will always be a favorite. I don't have enough adjectives to describe her.

*I really don't want to know of Charlie's flaws, but I wonder if the doc mentioned them?* Something about wire coat hangers ... I didn't catch it all ... -
I don't even like Ms. Crawford that much as an actress. I've enjoyed some of her movies, but I don't go nuts over her like some others do. Heck, I don't think much of Jean Harlow either, which probably puts me in a minority. She had some comedic talent, but I never thought she was much to look at.

No, but please keep trying. Clue 2:
