So when you said "I suspect she is his wife," you didn't know how correct you were.

Yes, it's James Mason ... I'm sure that helps you

I'll be darned. I never knew he was inside the robot suit in Forbidden Planet.

Mason's character in Prince Valiant was not the Prince, but some knight .. can't remember his title, and I was too lazy to look it up. Rommel goes by Field Marshall but sometimes General. In any event, it was a stab. I keep thinking it's Olivier ( Nazi in Marathon Man, General MacArthur in Inchon ), but I can't connect the knight part.

Can you make a sketch and upload it?

I was going to guess James Mason, for his roles in Prince Valiant, The Boys from Brazil, and Desert Fox.

Yes, you can call me Rich. No problem, let's get a few more guesses for this one. Ah, I just figured out who it probably is, but I'll wait. Message was edited by: scsu1975

True, but she did win an Oscar, something the others did not (although in Rains case, he should have).

Well, people often confuse McCarthy and the HUAC, forgetting that McCarthy was in the Senate and the "H" in HUAC means "House."

Hmm .. I always heard it was Tallulah Bankhead who said that, although she didn't say "sleep."

*I'm at a loss to know what it was.* It was Mel Welles ... his career really declined.

Did he have eight hands?

Can you insert a song for others to hear?

You didn't learn your lesson after telling people how to post pictures -

Hmm ... I thought people were saying those buttons didn't work. I guess they do. Now did you know there is a way to rotate your viewing screen 90 degrees? I don't know the keystrokes, but if you let a cat walk across the keyboard, it can and will happen.

This was a pleasant enough film, although the print was in tough shape, even with the restoration. Joe wants to become a D.A. (Doctor of Astrology), and works a variety of jobs, including busboy, horoscope maker at a carnival, and boxer. Along the way, he blows his chance to marry into a wealthy family (although with Edgar Kennedy as the potential father-in-law, it was probably just as well). Margaret Hamilton shows up as a maid with a really big nose ... wait, that was really her nose. Ward Bond has a bit part as an Irish detective. The climactic boxing match has some slapstick and would probably keep young kids entertained. This was my first chance to see the lovely Marian Marsh, who works with Joe at the carnival and eventually becomes his girl. This was also my first chance to see Bull Montana, the Italian wrestler, without makeup. He plays "Salvador Slayer," a Spanish boxer. After seeing his mug and caulifower ears, I liked him better as the Ape-Man in the silent version of The Lost World.

Ok, I finally figured this out. Suppose you want to italicize. If you accidentally hit "ctrl " instead of "shift ", the type on the page enlarges, and will keep enlarging every time you hit "ctrl ". To resolve the problem, hit ctrl shift -" as many times as necessary to get the type back to regular size. I'm so glad I cleared this up for myself.
