I just has to check if "Octaman" would be a correct spelling, instead of "Octoman," since I've seen "octo" used as a prefix for "eight," but not "octa." However, according to Webster, "octa" is synonymous with "octo," so I can't accuse the producers of getting the title wrong. But they did get the entire movie wrong. How about a movie with Stuart Whitman, about plane crash survivors in the desert, called Sands of the Calamari?
-
If you count his two legs and the thing hanging off each leg, I guess we can stretch it to eight. I know I'm seen at least part of this film at one time.
-
I give this film "two tentacles up." Mama Mia!
-
Correct. I'm sure "Mallingford" enabled you to find this in 5 seconds, as I did after I posted it. Duh. Oh well, the last few photos were tough, so you were due for a softball.

*I've always thought Turn On was great. Yes, I saw the one episode.* I saw it too, but remember very little of it. Tim Conway was the host, or "star" or whatever his position was for that episode. I seem to remember some electronic music (very annoying actually) and he was dreaming/visualizing various things, some of which were probably borderline for prime time. I also seem to recall that the next episode, which never aired, was supposed to be hosted by Robert Culp. Oh, just found this: Message was edited by: scsu1975

Oh great ... a psychedelic octopus ... makes me yearn for the horrifyingly phony one that wrestles Bela Lugosi in Bride of the Monster.

Yes, it's The Italian Job.
-
Not The Ipcress File
-
No, not The Two-Headed Spy
-
OK, here's a large clue. Michael Caine is in the movie.
-
Do we need another clue on this one?

I just checked that site ... seems to be working for me.

Ian Keith, who played one of the Admirals, sounded remarkably like Richard Kiley. I had to check to make sure Kiley did not dub in the dialogue.

*scsu, lz, do you remember me ever having said that? Don't I usually call them "dames"?* Yes, and sometimes broads I have no idea what this thread is about anymore.

Domergue claims she is good in a crisis, but she screams the first time she sees the Octopus. Did you notice the scene near the beginning where Tobey is putting the moves on her in the lab? She is playing with a beaker.

Those are good points. And Greenpeace would blow up the tunnel.
-
*the tunnel could have been dug in from 266 days to as little as 133 days, in one direction.* Were they working 24-hour shifts? I can't recall. Anyhow, it would take longer because there would be coffee breaks.
-
I guess she could do the Arliss part.
-
And amazingly, Joan Crawford does not appear in any of those movies!

*I understand that you do not see a post from anyone you have on "ignore". But can the person you have on ignore see your posts?* Yes, I'm pretty certain the person can.
