*the Hitchcock cameo - leaving a hotel room more details*
Uh, this is what happens when you don't read what you cut and paste.

Has anyone ever seen Adventures in Silverado? It was a western made in the 40s, and I saw this all the time as a kid. I remember the male lead had a stagecoach, and each of his horses was named after a state (Colorado, Utah, etc.) It is in the TCM database, but I don't know if it's ever been shown.

Correct on Bruce and the title.
-
Right now, I will settle for knowing the name of the third actor and the title of the movie

-
Is that a guess?
(and thank you for the edit)

Tex Ritter sang the theme from High Noon in the movie (as Fred mentioned). Frankie Laine recorded it for popular release.

True, and after they get shot, they never develop any lasting problems.

*You really don't have to go back to 1912..take a gander at Michael Jackson..*
Heh heh

OK, maybe I will change my preference to the House on Haunted Hill ... provided Vincent Price gives me one of those little coffins with a gun in it.
-
CK, you forgot to change "colour" to "color" when you cut and pasted your thread.
-
It night be fun to sleep in the Psycho house ... maybe for one night, anyway.

You now have two (assuming you mean the woman on the left and not the guy on the right)

My flub, Frankie Laine recorded "High Noon." He did sing the title song in Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and also 3:10 to Yuma, not to mention Blazing Saddles.
This post will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Jim.

I have no idea, for what it's worth.

I saw a silent short on Sunday night, can't recall the title, something like "Archie ... etc.." from 1912, I think, and I swear the lead actor was wearing eyeshadow.
-
*Didn't director Vincent Minelli often wear eyeliner?*
I don't know, but Ed Wood wore women's underwear.
-
I remember composer Marvin Hamlisch making a similar remark about "best" musical score. He suggested giving the composers the same piece of film and having them score it.

Very entertaining movie. Robert Evans, who later became a producer, portrays Irving Thalberg.
-
Turhan Bey is correct, but not Albritton, Welles, or Hayworth.
-
I recalled it as "Rick's Place" as well, but imdb.com says otherwise (they may be wrong):

Actors and film:

Bonzo and Cheeta had quite a bitter rivalry, kind of like Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Unfortunately, Bonzo has passed away. These were his last words:

Hey, don't forget Hall of Famer Pie Traynor.
