I think this is where we're heading here:

I was waiting for someone to tell me who the male was.

*The Satan Bug* (1965) Wednesday, March 26, 7:15 a.m. Eastern Time.
Stars George Maharis, Anne Francis, Richard Basehart, and Dana Andrews.
This "sleeper" is a top-notch thriller about the search for missing vials of deadly viruses. I first saw this in the late 1960s, and it had me on the edge of my seat. Maharis is the government agent trying to find the vials, with Anne Francis the romantic interest. In supporting roles, look for Ed Asner and Frank Sutton as hoods, and James ("Scotty") Doohan as a government agent. The film has a wild climax inside a helicopter flying over L.A. Highly recommended.

Reminder: *The Strange Woman* starring Hedy Lamarr. Tuesday, March 25, 10:00 a.m. Eastern time
Hedy looks great, although her Austrian accent in Maine is never explained. Louis Hayward falls apart, and George Sanders does not play a slimeball for a change. The ending is a cop-out, probably to satisfy the Code. Watch for Ian MacDonald (Frank Miller from High Noon) in a small part.

I just checked my TV Directory book. There was a character called Tony Verdeschi (sounds Italian) who was First Officer, but Landau was the commander. Apparently they were on the moon and the moon itself got blasted into space. Looks like the series ran for two years, starting in 1975.
Maybe "Tony" is in this picture:

Was that the series where Martin Landau and Barbara Bain ended up after Mission Impossible?

Review of *Trader Horn* from Variety:
"Sure money-getter. Oustanding animal stuff, great sound effects, and thin story, which has good-looking white girl romping around scantily clad."
-
The story goes that Edwina Booth, the female star of Trader Horn, caught some kind of disease while filming in Africa and was bedridden for several years, effectively ending her movie career. Yet, she lived to be 86.

Correct. Your move.

Yes, it is Uncle Silas, also known as The Inheritance.

*Trivia: What piece is playing in the last scene of The Elephant Man?*
Is it Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber?
