  1. This is probably classified as a cult movie. After you watch it, you will want to join a cult.

Actually, it's not nearly as bad as it could have been. A gang of roving punks decide to terrorize Cee Bee Beaumont, whose boyfriend, Lonnie Lord, is a famous rock singer (he sold ten million records!!!!). We get to see Cee Bee in various states of undress, and while she is on one of these states, she spies a man outside her window and screams. Oddly enough, she says nothing to her boyfriend, and instead, is shown dancing at a party the next day while he sings the ever popular song "Rat Pfink." Shortly thereafter, she is kidnapped, despite Lonnie's gardener Titus making no attempt to stop it. While they await the kidnappers call, Lonnie sings "I Stand Alone." Finally, the kidnappers make contact and the boys spring into action as their alter egos, Rat Pfink (Lonnie) and Boo Boo (Titus). We get a brief flavor of "Also Sprach Zaruthustra" when the boys make their initial appearance on screen. Off they go, in a Pfinkmobile left over from the German High Command, riding down the side streets of LA with no one thinking this is unusual (well, it's LA). When the kidnappers pick up the ransom, they are dismayed to discover the briefcase contains Batman comics and Monster World magazines (good sight gag). Our heroes follow them, and fisticuffs take place in someone's back yard (probably the director's). Best line: "You're hurting me," says Cee Bee to one of her assailants. The chase, which has now moved to the streets, won't remind anyone of Bullitt. Our heroes even pause at a stop sign to look both ways. More fisticuffs ensue, out in a field. Then an escaped gorilla shows up, who makes off with Cee Bee. "Put me down, you big ape," she cries. The gorilla takes out Rat Pfink with one punch, but the gorilla's trainer arrives. Rat Pfink reveals his true identity to Cee Bee and they make out. Our heroes take part in a parade, waving to their adoring fans. Lonnie sings a closing song to Cee Bee, and they frolic at the beach, where we see some kids reading a Rat Pfink and Boo Boo comic book.

Topical references: There is a Good Humor Truck, a car that has KTTV on it, and gasoline was priced at 30.9 cents.

At least the film was in letterbox.

  2. No, but thank you for the laugh.

    Recap:

Clue 1: You would definitely hear this at a John Philip Sousa concert.

Clue 2: This actor's last name is the same as a famous Air Force base.

Clue 3: Same last name as the actor who played Amos Burke.

Clue 4: This actor's last name is similar to the last name of your guess. (which was Barry Lyndon)

Clue 5: Elderly people sometimes use this to aide their movement.

Clue 6: The first name of the actor in Clue 2 is also the name of a famous Air Force Base (if you remove the "s" from the name of the base).
