  1. I'm unable to watch any films on TCM currently. When I click on the film I get a message saying that I'm not authorized to view and that I should contact my television provider. My provider is Verizon FIOS and I just spent an hour on the phone with them. I didn't get any satisfaction until I spoke with a supervisor who finally contacted the engineers in charge who said there was a glitch between TCM and Verizon preventing the live stream. I'm told it will be fixed within the next 24 hours. What infuriates me about Verizon, aside from how difficult it is to break through their robotic messaging system, is how quickly they tell you that the problem is with the provider of the content not them. As this episode shows, that may be the case but as I have no direct access to the content provider it's incumbent on them to do that as they are acting as the go between the content provider and me, their customer.

  2. I just watched Charade. About 32 minutes in it locked up and I couldn't revive it. Shut down and rebooted. Had trouble bringing it back up then when I finally got it up I watched it to the end but for the rest of the film the video would periodically freeze and the buffering would halt it completely. Sometimes the buffering would end but a few times I had to refresh the page and try and find the point where I had left it. Very frustrating.

  3. I watched Dodsworth in its last rotation but I just now tried and only got the black screen, it will not load. When I have problems it doesn't matter if I'm using Chrome or Internet Explorer it's the same for both browsers. Yesterday's problems were extreme and as I said rebooting fixed it but I've had intermittent problems with various movies for the last few weeks. I sometimes get the buffering circle as well. Thanks for your post, I'm glad I'm not the only one with the problem.

  4. I watch on my desktop, A Dell, running Windows 7. I did reboot the machine and the movie ran from that point on. Tonight it was particularly egregious but for the last few weeks it's been freezing and I have to slightly advance it to get it to run again. Thanks for your response.

  5. I've been having a lot of trouble trying to watch the movies of late. The video freezes while the audio continues. Right now I've got S.O.B. up and all I can get is the audio, the video won't move past the Warner Brothers logo. Anyone else having this problem? It's really frustrating.

  6. Yes, I just tried to stream Deep in my Heart and Remember The Night on Chrome and IE and neither would run. On a separate note, I've noticed a number of films that run during the day that don't appear on the list of available movies. Recent examples are Carefree, The Bishop's Wife and Guys and Dolls. I assumed everything on the schedule would stream but that doesn't appear to be the case. I wonder how they make the decision about which movies to stream.

  7. I just watched I'll See You in My Dreams and the last two minutes were cut off. That is, with two minutes to go, the video stopped playing as if the movie was over. First time this has happened. I assume TCM has the full uncut print so I'm not sure what the problem is.
