_Issue #1_ - *Among other things, this printout must contain the starting time and date for each movie on the list. Four schedules are required, corresponding to the four USA time zones.* *DONE.* The monthly printable schedule contains all that relevant information and is available formatted for each of the four time zones in the U.S. It was implemented weeks ago. _Issue #2_ - *At any point in time, three completed monthly schedules (the current month along with the next two months) must be available to all visitors to the TCM web site from the drop-down SCHEDULE menu.* According to WebAdmin, TCM will only provide upcoming months' listings through the daily listings schedule page. "(T)he three month schedule is only available as described". See here - http://forums.tcm.com/message.jspa?messageID=8521689#8521689 There will no longer be advance printable monthly schedules accessible through the TCM website. (The only exception may be possible access to a schedule for the upcoming month which will be made available during the last few days of the current month. This may be implemented at a future date.) This is a deliberate decision on TCM's part. Whatever their reasons, it is the state of affairs for the forseeable future. Keep in mind, this thread is meant to alert WebAdmin and TCMDigital to _technical_ issues with the Message Boards. It is not intended to discuss editorial decisions. Those "problems" should be taken up in other threads. There are two or three threads in other Forums touching on this very subject. Kyle In Hollywood Edited by: hlywdkjk on Jun 2, 2011 8:19 PM

*"Oh my gosh! Dinosaurus is sooooooooooo cute!"* - JackFavell Smooth out the teeth and paint him purple and "Dinosaurus" would be a double for Barney. Maybe it is Barney's "evil twin"? "Did you notice the guy in the yellow shirt trying to hit him in the foot...with a stick?" - smileys It is probably a father who had to listen to his kid's Barney CD one too many times. *"Fine, but where do those members find the links?"* - SM Reposted from a different thread - Here are links to threads from some of the resourceful members of these Forums which include links to future schedules - July Monthly Schedule Thread - http://forums.tcm.com/thread.jspa?threadID=159414&tstart=0&messageID=8512403#8512403 (thread includes link to July Schedule) August Monthly Schedule Thread - http://forums.tcm.com/thread.jspa?threadID=159577&tstart=0&messageID=8516059#8516059 (thread includes link to August Schedule) Bear in mind that these early schedules are "works-in-progress" and are subject to change. In fact, they are usually revised a few times as the particular month approaches. Kyle In Hollywood

*"However, I seem to remember that prior to the recent website upgrade the "2 months ahead" schedules were always available on the 1st of the month since I always looked for them on that date."* - lydecker In the past, one could access upcoming months in full-month layout. That ability is no longer being made available through a link on the website. You can find them through links provided by members of these Forums. TCM has made a decision to provide a link to only the current month in a printable format. BTW, as you wrote, even in the former format the schedule page only linked to pages "two months out". (June/July/August) One still wouldn't be able to find the September schedule on the "old" pages. Kyle In Hollywood

What happened to printing the monthly schedule ahead of time?

*"I saw the message board for technical issues, but I didn't think it was a technical issue. I figured it was a change that was made on purpose, so that wouldn't be a tech issue, but I guess it is."* - paterd According to TCMWebAdmin, the absence of links to future, printable monthly schedules is deliberate on TCM's part. For the time being, the site will only contain links to the printable schedule for the current month. But if you continue to hang out here with us hardcore TCM watchers, you'll find links to the upcoming schedules before TCM puts them online for the rest of the public. Here are links to threads from some of the resourceful members of these Forums which include links to future schedules - July Monthly Schedule Thread - http://forums.tcm.com/thread.jspa?threadID=159414&tstart=0&messageID=8512403#8512403 (thread includes link to July Schedule) August Monthly Schedule Thread - http://forums.tcm.com/thread.jspa?threadID=159577&tstart=0&messageID=8516059#8516059 (thread includes link to August Schedule) Bear in mind that these early schedules are "works-in-progress" and are subject to change. *"Kyle- As ever, you're the gift that keeps on giving!"* - Minya I was wondering what I needed to post to get a reaction out of you. I didn't think that it would be Japanese men in rubber monster suits. *"Godzilla vs. Monster Zero is maybe THE best entry in the Godzilla library, in my opinion."* I'll take your word for it. Finding a poster image was difficult. That film has multiple names and few decent posters. Happy you're enjoying these. Kyle In Hollywood -

*"I look forward to seeing it again! They could show it with "The Incredible Shrinking Man", or, better still, with a quartet of movies that gives the term "women's pictures" new meaning: "The She Creature", "The Leech Woman", "The Wasp Woman"..."* - swithin *Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman* is showing early in the evening of June 16th paired with *Village Of The Giants* as the first of the "Drive-In Double Features" that night. *The Wasp Woman* is showing late in the night of June 9th paired with the *The Giant Claw*. What happened to printing the monthly schedule ahead of time?

*"Am I missing something, or is this how it is now?"* - Pat Pat, speaking today, that is how it is. Accessing the June schedule to print is not available through the drop down links in the banner at the top of the page. It should be available tomorrow (the 1st) using those links. There is a likelihood that having access to the printable next month's schedule a week early will be available in the near future. But I don't know exactly when that might be. In the meantime, you can use this link to see the printable schedule for June - http://www.tcm.com/schedule/monthly.html?tz=pst&sdate=2011-06-01 Use the links on that page to change the page to your timezone. And you can always browse the next day's listings using the daily schedule page. Kyle In Hollywood -
I'm not trying to pour cold water on anyone but... 'tcmprogrammr' announced at the 2011 TCM Classic Film Festival in April that this October's "Star Of The Month" will be - for the first time ever - Buster Keaton. So keep your petitions for Lugosi, Lorre, et.al handy for 2012. (Actually, they are probably filling in the SOTM line-ups for 2012 about now anyway.) Of course, Keaton as SOTM doesn't preclude TCM from programming some interesting horror films that month. Kyle In Hollywood

*"...you really have to admire the folks who adopted this "everything for our troops" mindset and sacrificed here at home on behalf of our men and women overseas. It wasn't easy for them I am sure. I wonder if we would see that again, if it came down to it in the here and now."* - rohanaka I think there is an interesting and valuable documentary to be made in a thorough examination of the homefront during WWII. Obviously there are many stories, such as the U.S. Crop Corps, left untold. (If 'smileys' is unawares, then most folks must be.) Such commitment to the country's needs fascinates me. Honestly, I truly doubt it could be seen again. This country is balkanized and divided so completely that half the population distrusts the other half. And a majority of all adult citizens distrust their Government to do what is right for the Nation. So ideas such as "price controls", "wage ceilings" and "ration stamps" would never find their way into the public sphere. And America is diminished because of that. Kyle In Hollywood -
