Well there isn't a character named Candy (Jellybean-Yes, Candy-No) The main gangster is named Trigger (Played by Jack LaRue) the film is "The Story of Temple Drake" 1933. But I could be wrong. Miriam Hopkins plays the main Female character.

You can find a DVD-R here:http://www.freemoviesondvd.com/index1.htm
It's called FreeMovies on DVD. But it will cost $9.25 to cover their costs.
They're not bad. I ordered 3 DVD's. Because they are NOT available anywhere. They come in CD Cases with a Picture of the film on the cover. The disc face itself is a white or blank. They also carry some Rare VHS tapes. Hope this helped.

I would opt for what Nightwalker posted about a DVR. But if you really-really want the DVD you can find a Copy (DVD-R) here: http://www.robertsvideos.com/product.php3?invid=66060&ref=/browse.php3
Remember it is a copy for $20 bucks.

Sorry, I think Ultraman kicked Inframan's butt, and he's hiding somewhere in Japan with Princess Dragon Mom and her mutant army.

No it not a re-make. It was written in 1995 by Bernhard Schlink based on his bestselling novel "Der Vorleser" (The Reader)

Old black and white monster movies
in Information, Please!
Posted
I knew that Nightwalker would know. I just resently watched *The Flesh Eaters*. In New York, we used to get the Monsters H.D. channel that was part of the "Voom Package" of H.D. on Cablevision. But they took it off. (*sigh) These Great Films really do need a channel of their own.
Another "Wish List"....
