Now if they would release 1950"Caged" with Eleanor Parker, that would make my day... vallo

  2. I was watching the other night "Destry rides again"1939 and when Marlene Dietrich was singing "See vhat the boys in the back room will have" all I thought about was Madeline Kahn in "Blazing Saddles" I couldn't keep a straight face.

She was one of the best and she is still missed.

  3. Also try moviesunlimited.com or amazon.com but sometimes the movie may NOT be available on DVD or VHS.

Keep checking this site, sometimes there are movie alerts.

The hardest thing about loving classics is finding them available for your personal collection.

  4. I purchased the "Thin man" box set and it is worth every penny. The 7th.disc is a William Powell and Myrna Loy bio.

As for another Loy/Powell movie get "Libeled Lady" 1936 Powell steals the movie with his "Fishing' trip" with Walter Connelly. Also stars Jean Harlow ,Spencer Tracy..Very Funny..

    Directed by Jack Conway

  5. Xxmass,I agree being a classic lover myself, that some people don't understand.I live for the past (movies that is) but you're correct about todays(so-called) stars and the films that are being made.(dreck)Give me a old movies any time. And if people say I live in the past,so be it .I'm the one that is being really entertained. They'll just complain about sending $10.00 for a remake when I can watch the original on TMC.
