Good film, with Richard Widmark and Paul Winfield Hopefully they will release the film, in the near future. vallo

The company is located in Brentwood Ca. Not sure of the quality. Most of the films are already on the Home Video format. I just like Al Hirschfeld's cover. I doubt if (like Warner Bros) it would include extras. I can't wait myself for # 5. But there's always Warners Gangsters Collection #4 coming at the end of September to stimulate my interest. vallo

Not sure about # 5 but there is a set coming soon called: *Film Noir: The Dark Side Of Hollywood: Legends Of Hollywood* Now Accepting Advance Orders! - Available on 09/30/08 One of Humphrey Bogart's first featured roles was as a gangster in "Call It Murder" (1934), the story of a man who must help his daughter when she is accused of murder. Suspenseful drama co-stars Henry Hull, O.P. Heggie, Sidney Fox. AKA: "Midnight." Five-disc set also includes "Detour" (1945), "Scarlet Street," "The Stranger" (1946), "He Walked by Night," "D.O.A." (1950), "The Hoodlum" (1951), "The Green Glove," "The Hitch-Hiker," and "The Big Combo." Soundtrack: English. Here:http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/product.asp?sku=D30223 vallo

Enigma at the ending to Hitchcock's "Family Plot"

Try this Theory: **Spoilers** After Adamson has given Blanche the knock-out shot in the garage, he carries her up the stairs from the garage to the house and says to his helpmate Fran: "Come on, Fran. Let's go get another diamond for our chandelier." Blanche is in his arms, SUPPOSEDLY unconscious. Maybe yes, maybe no -- but either way, she probably heard Adamson say there was a diamond in the chandelier. vallo -

Charles Laughton as Quasimodo Carole Lombard as Irene Bullock Humphrey Bogart as Charlie Allnut, Queeg, Dobbs, Harry ?Steve?, Duke, Blaine (take your pick) You know I have to add- Burt Lancaster as ?The Swede? Many others???. My favorite ?Frankenstein Monster? was Glenn Strange vallo -
I also like him. I just watched him in *China Seas* w/ Gable & Harlow, he was a drunk and hysterical with his banter with Edward Brophy as Timmons (that's Timmons, T.I.M.M.O.N.S). I also enjoy his shorts and his Knights of the Algonquin.
