  1. I rather spend $20. on 3 films at Blockbuster. Then $$11.50 each for one film filled with commercials. Are far as Drive-Ins, forget New York, they're a thing of the past.

If you do go to a place with dinner and a movie perhaps they should have "Sub-Titles" so you can understand the films even when there's noise from the other customers chowing-down.

That's why I stay home and wait for the DVD....

  2. I received the schedule by E-mail on February 26 and there is no mention of "Nine Girls" it reads: "Dangerous Blondes" (1943).(I'll have to check my "Now Playing Guide"). Evelyn Keyes is in both films, so it may have been a Typo.. Both films are good B-movies..

  3. Years ago my Mom saw "The Rose Tattoo" on Broadway with Mineo and Maureen Stapleton as Serafina Delle Rose and I believe it was Eli Wallach as Alvaro Mangiacavallo. She always told me the Marisa Pavan part was a male in the play.

I always liked Mineo, sad he was murdered. What a waste of a great actor..

    Other actor without a star....(sad)

  5. it is based on real events.

FromIMDb.com:Thomas Edward Lawrence blazed his way to glory in the Arabian desert, then sought anonymity as a common soldier under an assumed name. The story opens with the death of Lawrence in a motorcycle accident in London at the age of 47, then flashbacks to recount his adventures: as a young intelligence officer in Cairo in 1916, he is given leave to investigate the progress of the Arab revolt against the Turks in World War I. In the desert, he organizes a guerrilla army and--for two years--leads the Arabs in harassing the Turks with desert raids, train-wrecking and camel attacks. Eventually, he leads his army northward and helps a British General destroy the power of the Ottoman Empire.

We're still going through this kind of problem, even Today (sad)
