  1. What a sweet lady, would of loved to have met her.

    Got this from IMDb:

The studio forced her to eat extra servings of food so she could play the "black mammy" roles that were available to actresses of color at the time....(unbelievable)

and: Before she became an actress she was the maid for actress Leatrice Joy, did she help her get into films?

I figured she doesn't have a star in Hollywood.

I'd say any of his roles are worth mentioning. He only made 8 films.

Also a great cult actor was Timothy Carey

  3. If the page is numbered say 1 to 5. 5 would be the original post page and page 1 would be the latest post. It doe's get a little confusing. But that's the way TCM set it up. After a while you get used to it.

  5. I think DVD's will be around a while. There's are a lot who still tape films with VCR's. But,then there's that whole Sony Blu-ray Disc thing. Companies will always try to make the better mouse trap.

  6. TCM catalog in actually linked to Movieunlimited.com The Films are DVD's not copies.

You can check for films yourself on line, and I think they should mention what region they play on.

  7. Mine was "Snow White" also. But I used to pretend I was sleeping as a kid and watch through the open door from my bedroom and watch the "Late Show" that my Mom was always watching in the Living Room (Back then 1 TV per household) and remember "The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1939)" Scary but cool.....
