  1. I feel that if a film is "depressing" you tend to think, talk about the outcome more. Like what if this/or that happened after the film or maybe they (using it in a rhetorical way) got back together. I also hate when films have to wrap it up with a pretty bow.

A couple of examples: "Angels with Dirty Faces" ( did he die a coward??) or ( did he do it for the kids??) or "Shane" (did he die?? ) or (did he live??) when riding away at the end of the film.

I like films that make you think with your brain, Not eye candy that entertains you for a while and the next day it's a forgotten experience...

  2. >>"Mr. Ryan does NOT have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame."<<

From working with some of the best in the business,Actors, Actresses' and Directors, in over 90 films, THIS MAN deserves a Star. Because of his abilities on the screen he made lesser roles become great just by acting in them.

Never hated the man even when he was the heavy. Always gave 100%.

    Again I'm depressed...(*sigh)

  4. RayHawk, to purchase "1964's "The Train" with Lancaster and Paul Scofield

    Try Here:http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/product.asp?sku=D13449

    Directed by John Frankenheimer

Lancaster really hurt his leg while filming, told Frankenheimer that he couldn't finish filming. Frankenheimer told him don't worry "well add it to the script".
