"Classic": generally considered to be of the highest quality or lasting value, especially in the arts, authoritative and perfect as a standard of its kind.Something created or made, especially a work of art, music, or literature, that is generally considered to be of the highest quality and of enduring value Well each person would have their own description of what is classic,so it's kind of hard to say. I guess it would cover any film, any year. The thing is, TCM is known as The "Classic Movie" channel (Un-Cut and Commercial Free) so when a newer film's are shown there will always be flack. Because we can find the newer films on just about any of the other Cable channel. vallo

  15. I'm not sure if it was Satellite or Cable but I did notice some sound/skipping problems with "Waterloo Bridge" the film prior to "Baby Face". I have Satellite......... vallo

  20. I watched it for the first time Saturday Night. I liked it. But I was reminded of "It's A Wonderful Life" with the comparison of The Bank Run and the Owner digging into his own pockets and the final outcome in the bank .(small SIMILARITIES). Capra uses his setting's well making "the bank" is just as important as the films characters. Really liked "Kay Johnson" as Huston's wife. vallo
