  17. Mr. B this is what I found: Bing Crosby: Screen Legend Collection [DVD] This three-disc set features five of crooner Bing Crosby's classics! When the winner of the Miss Pineapple contest isn't enjoying her prize trip to Hawaii, publicist Tony Marvin (Crosby) manufactures the adventure of a lifetime, in "Waikiki Wedding" (1937). Martha Raye, Shirley Ross also star. An eccentric millionaire tests New Yorkers' moral mettle, with a fortune awaiting the most honest "contestant." See if Bing passes the test, in "Double or Nothing" (1937), with Andy Devine and William Frawley. Bing and a bouncing bundle of joy make a delightfully odd couple in the breezy "East Side of Heaven" (1939). Joan Blondell, C. Aubrey Smith co-star. Crosby is a warm-hearted construction worker caring for a friend's talented daughter, in "If I Had My Way" (1940). With Gloria Jean, Charles Winninger. Bing ac-cen-tu-ates the positive as a Navy songster who inspires singing twins (both played by Betty Hutton) to enlist, in "Here Come the Waves" (1944). Sonny Tufts, Ann Doran also star. 7 3/4 hrs. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono; Subtitles: English (SDH), French; theatrical trailer. Category: Musicals Academy Award? Winner: Best Song ("Sweet Leilani") Nominee: Best Dance Direction (Leroy Prinz) Rated: NR B&W vallo
