It's hard to believe Brennan was only 42 yrs.old in "Come and Get it" and 50 yrs. in "To Have and Have Not" Always playing older gents in most of his films.
The man always impressed me no matter what role he chose, with 230 films not counting personal appearances. I would call him a true Hollywood Icon.
Both films above are on DVD.

I remember seeing this years ago. Also with Harry Carey. But I checked everywhere and it is NOT available on VHS or DVD. Unless you find a private collector. AKA: Little Devil's
Good Luck...

Urged on by a not-so-kindly old cobbler (Alphonse Ethier), who recommends that Lily read Nietzsche - and ?Be strong! Defiant! Use men to get the things you want!?
Not sure of the name of the book.

"Classic": generally considered to be of the highest quality or lasting value, especially in the arts, authoritative and perfect as a standard of its kind.Something created or made, especially a work of art, music, or literature, that is generally considered to be of the highest quality and of enduring value
Well each person would have their own description of what is classic,so it's kind of hard to say. I guess it would cover any film, any year.
The thing is, TCM is known as The "Classic Movie" channel (Un-Cut and Commercial Free) so when a newer film's are shown there will always be flack. Because we can find the newer films on just about any of the other Cable channel.
