Is this all because the UK found Tom of Tom & Jerry offensive because he smoked a cigarette. Please, in this day and age we realize the dangers. Next we'll be burning books like Fran?ois Truffaut's "Fahrenheit 451". It should be our choice what we watch not some Egg-Head making decisions for us...What a crock!

I didn't watch "Carefree" but I did watch Key Largo and Private Screenings prior to Carefree with no trouble. But I watched "North Passage" and The Thin Man and DID have the film bounce/skip. But I thought it was my satellite.

Actress Adrienne Shelly Found Dead
American actress "Adrienne Shelly" was found dead at her New York City apartment on Wednesday in what appears to be a suicide. She was 40. Shelly was discovered hanging from a bedsheet by her husband Andy Ostroy, according to the New York Daily News. Police found no evidence of foul play. Shelly - real name Adrienne Levine - was best known for her appearances in the Hal Hartley movies The Unbelievable Truth and Trust. Agent Rachel Sheedy says, "She was an incredibly sweet and talented and generous woman." Police officers are awaiting an autopsy report before deciding whether to continue with investigations. Shelly is survived by her husband and three-year-old daughter Sophie.

I just found this thread. I was too busy watching all the good Halloween films on TCM.
Mr. PRODUCER01, how can you say AMC was better. they "Slice & Dice" the Halloween films with commercials and edits more then the psychos' "Slice & Dice" their victims in the horror film.

Mongo, Sorry to hear about your Boxer. I have a 3 yr. old Boxer and he became such a part of the family. I wouldn't know how to handle the loss. Sad news indeed.... My condolences to you and yours....
