Remember in the 70's everyone who had a TV show also had a record for some strange reason. John Travolta, David Soul, Lenny & Squiggy. and how many of you still dance to "Do the Fonzie"?

Wow what a crock... Cablevision is and always been full of crap...
If you get the phone/cable and internet @$99.00 it's good for only one year then the phone goes up from $29.99 to $67.00 a month and cable prices soar. So where's the bargain?
Verizon is now offering the same package but it doesn't say for one year only... But it's in limited areas. Cable when I first got it years ago was a bargain just for reception @$11.00 per month.with more channels. Now it's pay per view at ridiculous prices. Dolores, I feel your pain....

So True Larry, When Mongo mentioned he may retire next year. I thought who could do such a good, professional job doing the Birthday Thread. Well no one! Mr. Mongo is irreplaceable. The thoughts and context he puts in daily, are without a doubt the best thread on the boards...Keep it going Mr. Mongo

It doesn't surprise me at all.... There are alot of posters looking for a "Profanity filter". So now "Big Brother" is watching....Good! maybe we won't have a repeat performance of a few months ago....We can ALL get our point across without the swearing.....IMHO....

Jack, perhaps the commercials were a little more entertaining back then with "Jingles" that stuck in your head. Not the stuff they selling now and it's shoved up our a....
or I was younger and had a better attention span. And there were no remotes to change the channels during commercials.
You're right about being sucked into a story. Did you ever try and watch regular TV now? late at night. it's nothing but 1/2 hour Infomercial's (sigh)

I guess I played it wrong but it does make sense to continue with another star from a film and add a different film they were in etc...But we may need a mediator on this issue...Hopefully not too long I like this stuff.

Lost TCM? It's only available on digital cable now. Why?

They're doing the same thing with HD radio.
And Sony is coming out with "Bluetooth" Technology soon. Too much too soon.
We are getting squeezed into buying products that we don't really need.
It took years for people to buy color TV's in the 60's
I still have my 9" black & white and it plays great...
