I caught most of this movie the last time around and was happy to see it scheduled again. Now I look forward to watching it from the beginning on Sunday.

We've had XM for six years and my favorite channel (by far) is the 40's on 4. It plays mostly the music of the 30's and 40's with a little bit of 20's and 50's thrown in. Heaven! Jo Stafford is my very favorite singer. She is amazing!

Ayres, that's the Stafford Sisters (Jo and her two older sisters) doing the singing on "Nice Work". > Somewhere on the boards I think some folks were > discussing who does the singing for the three ladies > who apparently render "Nice Work if You Can Get It," > but I can't remember what well-known group they said > was doing the singing. -
Greer Garson and Walter Pidgeon.

Wonderful news! -
I personally go for Walter Pidgeon.
-
Jack, in Damsel in Distress we hear the Stafford Sisters singing with Fred on "Nice Work If You Can Get It." They don't appear onscreen, though.
-
I swoon for Walter Pidgeon. (sigh)

I absolutely love "Dear Heart" with Geraldine Page and Glenn. It is one of my very favorite movies.
-
New Moon and Naughty Marietta are my two favorite MacDonald/Eddy movies. I do wish that their movies (or at least some of their movies) would come out on DVD.
