  1. I've been having the same problem for six months now. I'm right in the middle of a good movie and the picture freezes and pixilates.

Time and again I've called Time Warner, they've come, they've checked the wires, they've swapped out the boxes, proven to me that the signal is strong and still TCM is the only station this happens on. I actually show them the problem on the DVR, they nod, they can see there's a problem and yet apparently there's not a damn thing they can do about it.

    WHY????????

Since TCM is primarily the station I watch it's been absolutely no fun anymore. I can't watch TCM without being distracted by the fact that at any moment there's going to be a problem.

I used to have the dish but my new landlords won't let me put one on the roof. I don't have a balcony to attach a dish to. So it's cable or nothing and now I think it's going to be nothing.

I'm going to cancel my cable all together and just do Netflix. Perhaps I should see if I can just go with out regular TV for a while. Also save about 90 bucks a month.

I'll be back when I can get a dish but for the time being... TIME WARNER SUCKS!!!!!

  2. Thanks for the reply tcmprogrammer.

Too bad they are a one shot deal. They really ought to be repeated from time to time.

Hopefully when the internet can maintain larger format content they'll be able to be seen just like On Demand. Right now the TCM Viewing screen is a little too small for me to enjoy at close range.

  3. Of all the salutes and tributes TCM has run over the years the recent Lost and Found Series is, for me, the highlight of all.

For TCM to bring these lost and rarely seen films to viewers, who would otherwise never get to see them, illustrates how valuable this station is for film buffs.

I have been in anticipation of these two Teddington nights since I first heard about it. The last Lost And Found was a tremendous revelation and it's my great hope that TCM will continue to bring "lost" films, like these, out of the vaults!

    Many thanks TCM,
