  2. I wasn't signed up to Filmstruck before but I'm interested in seeing many of the titles they have so I may sign up this time.
  3. Yeah, the scenes were definitely well shot and some interesting ideas were presented but I feel it was a bit haphazardly put together and things didn't flow right. That said, it was still very good considering what they had to work with.
  4. I'm watching this one right now and it has very good cinematography but it's too all over the place for me. The soundtrack/ jazz riff is way too intrusive for me too. It doesn't flow with what's on the screen.
  5. I hadn't heard of either To Sleep With Anger or La Verite before but both look interesting.
  6. Shame is a good one and one of my favorite Bergman's definitely. Still haven't seen Berlin Alexanderplatz yet but this DVD of it seems to have a lot of interesting bonus material. It looks like the 1931 version in its entirety is among the bonus material! now that's a good deal.

  8. This Monday, November 19th at 2:24 AM Hot Money is on again. Hot Money - In this short comedy, Patsy Kelly and Thelma Todd come across some much needed money that just happens to be stolen.

  10. The laugh track was a beautiful invention. The laughter does the enjoyment for you so you don't have to be bothered with that!
  11. Time of the Apes - Compilation movie of the "Saru no Gundan" series. This is basically a non-copyright infringement version of planet of the Apes. A man, a woman and a kid get frozen in a cryogenic freezer and awake in the future to learn that apes now rule the world. Yeah, this is a very cheesy film but worth viewing if you like so bad it's good movies.

  17. TCM has already shown 80s action movies before and Die Hard is played on many different channels already. I think the "deal" is TCM only showing it in theaters.
