I was rewatching the Decameron yesterday and I thought how much Pier Paolo Pasolini looks like Big Ed from Twin Peaks.

I acutally thought of one I look like. I resemble Maria Falconetti somewhat (I look much more like my mother and my paternal grandmother than like my dad).

No contest.

Greek tragedy for the modern day 7- Damsel in Distress- underrated Gershwin musical 8- Gone WIth the Wind - Greatest Hollywood epic 9- Buddha- my foreign language pick. Japanese film on the life of the Blessed One 10 - Psycho - Hitchcock's greatest achievement. The fictional Ed Gein inspired Norman Bates is very creepy.

There are tons of terrible films today but also tons of terrible films from yesterday too. I would say overall last decade was very weak though.
