  1. Yeah, I have to say the touch up looks very well done. My favorite camera trick is when they yell at each other in the press room and the camera zooms from face to face. It looks very good.
  2. "Don't Rain on My Parade" from Funny Girl Next: song uses more than one language
  3. They've also shown Le Havre, Chicago, Funny Games and other newer films on their channel. Newer films must then be Classic by that logic.
  4. The OP of this thread never said it had to be from Golden Era Hollywood films and many newer films have also appeared on TCM before.
  5. Salon Kitty is a good cult film that I don't think they have shown.
  6. Carstairs, John Paddy - Assistant Director - Henry V
  7. Laurence Olivier and Renee Asherson in Henry V. Probably the best cinematography I've ever seen in a film.
  8. Guide played by E.E. Clive in Night Must Fall
  9. I always just open the image in a new tab and copy and paste the address into my comment. That should work too and it's easier.
  10. Opening Night - Producers Next: another song from a remake
  11. Henry V The Chronicle History of King Henry the Fifth with His Battell Fought at Agincourt in France
  12. Red River - best Hawks film and best John Wayne film.
  13. Also the movies they've scheduled for the spotlight are the usual ones like Odd Man Out that they ALWAYS play this time of year anyways.
  14. I think he looks like Race Bannon.
  15. Yeah but to be serious, it is a really sad and creepy movie. It'll give you more insight into why he was so messed up.
  16. The Leader: Different Youth - This is the first part of the new Chinese anime on the life of Marx and I enjoyed it. The animation is nice and looks like a blend of traditional style anime with some Pixar type CGI. The first episode begins in his youth with Marx's love for Jenny. He confronts her rich family at a ballroom party where his poor background is mocked. It also details his University life including a scene where he goes to a tavern and confronts a bar patron over the philosophy of Kant and Hume in the most metaphysical bar fight ever. The voice acting was very nice and the main actor's youthful but angry sounding voice really fit the character. I also liked the soundtrack including a catchy tune about his life at the very end. Really enjoyable anime so far. I recommend it.
