  1. According to one of my old movie books, one of the critics around this time, Bosley Crowther, hated BONNIE AND CLYDE with a passion. And of course moviegoers loved the movie. Count me as one of those who consider BONNIE AND CLYDE a classic.
  2. BURNT OFFERINGS is the only movie I ever saw him in. I must say he does look oh so fine in here. Maybe he was another who decided that Hollywood stardom just wasn't his cup of tea.
  3. She'd probably drive the other roller skaters off the floor, much like she threw Oliver Reed out the window (or drove him to jump as other viewers have speculated).
  4. Interesting selection of films. Don't recall seeing LULLABYE OF BROADWAY or THE STUDENT PRINCE, will have to check those out.
  5. 1483, 1485 (which is NOT the Tracy version of DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE) and 1490 are the only ones I recognize. 1483 and 1485 are watchable enough but I will never waste my time on 1490 again.
  6. Seen just about all of these. 1471, 1472 and 1473 are absolutely my favorites in here. 1480 is definitely my least favorite in here. The rest I can watch if I'm in the mood.
  7. Yet Wayne would go on to make some more movies with Ford, including THE SEARCHERS and THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE. Sounds like Ford and Wayne had a love/hate relationship....can't recall though if they ever had a permanent fallout like Ford and Fonda did.
  8. Brilliant choice of films, especially as the vain and shallow Virginia in THE STRAWBERRY BLONDE. GILDA and PAL JOEY are really good films as well.
