1253 is the best of the bunch IMO. 1251 and 1254 are well worth watching too.
1252, well I avoid anything with Bob Hope in it nowadays.
1257 everyone seems to love and while it's not the worst film I've seen it's not the best either.
Haven't seen 1260.

I love THE BRIDES OF DRACULA, it is just as great as, if not better than, its predecessor HORROR OF DRACULA.
Of course the title is kind of misleading since (SPOILER just in case) Dracula is nowhere to be seen in here, since he was destroyed in the last movie. But it does have one charming bloodsucker in his place.
And of course Peter Cushing does return as the formidable Dr. Van Helsing to once again save the day. Sweet.

Not sure if I've seen 1244.
1248 I could relate to as someone who used to get picked on at school (though not as cruelly as she was in the movie).
1241 is a classic, though I have to confess I like the Charles Laughton version a bit more, but Lon Chaney is equally as heartbreaking as the title character.
1246 is saved only by the performances of Sidney Poitier and Dorothy Dandridge.
1249 is hilarious. 1250 is heartbreaking when you know the true story.
The rest I like to watch on occasion.

Btw Beth, check out the latest posting in the "Guilty Pleasure" thread, and all will be revealed.
Just checked it out on that thread....no wonder I couldn't get it. I never saw the movie, I never even heard of it.

Would that be a small statue about the size of an Oscar, but of Dolly Parton instead???
(...I've got the perfect place to show it off...my fireplace mantle, and right next to that old bowling trophy of mine)
Anything you want, Dargo.
