Have you seen these 10 classic films..?

All great flicks in my book, except 1030. A bit too confusing for me to follow and doesn't exactly fit in with my theologies. -

This is a great film and Olivier in top form. I think I heard this was his favorite role of his as well. Ironic that Joan Plowright, who plays his daughter in here, went on to marry him in real life. -

Which Lost Film Would You Love to See?

I've always been interested in LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any prints left of the film. Too bad because it sounded real interesting with me, especially with Lon Chaney as the star. -

They never caught Jack the Ripper either. A lot of speculation on who he was or could have been, but it's never been proved one way or another. It will probably be the same with the Zodiac killer.

The worst possible cast selection.....
Bethluvsfilms replied to FredCDobbs's topic in General Discussions
Not such so much as a terrible idea, but it would have been interesting to have seen Kirk Douglas play Gordon Gekko in WALL STREET. It's exactly the kind of smarmy, arrogant type role he was known to have played in such films as OUT OF THE PAST, THE BAD AND THE BEAUTIFUL and ACE IN THE HOLE. -

I agree with what you said about EASY RIDER. Fonda and Hopper's characters (SPOILER ALERT) certainly did NOT deserve to be blown away like they were simply because they weren't part of the Establishment. Nor did George Hanson (Jack Nicholson) deserved to be beaten to death for absolutely no good reason.
