  1. A very difficult task, but here goes... 1) North by Northwest (1959) 2) The Byrds (1963) 3) Psycho (1960) 4) Strangers on a Train (1951) 5) Saboteur (1942) Saboteur is a highly underrated film which ends at another iconic site, the Statue of Liberty. Interestingly, the lead actress resembles the statue's facial features... Of course, honorable mentions include Vertigo (1958), Notorious (1946), Shadow of a Doubt (1943), Suspicion (1941), and Spellbound (1945) with a special nod towards The Lodger (1927), which, especially for its time, is really stunning. All of these are truly great films. N by NW, Psycho, Vertigo, Shadow, and Strangers are all regulars in film classes across this nation and for good reason. Great thread! Happy viewing...
