  1. Can Criterion or Warner Archive buy those films back so they can be properly restored and released? It's so sad Universal is behind them in caring about remastering great films such as Arise My Love-an Academy Award winner for story as an example. They are completely neglecting the Paramount catalog....the "forgotten stepchild" unfortunately...many Leisen movies are not out on DVD to be seen. And actors such as William Holden and Ray Milland have films that have not seen a release to DVD. Edited by: Reneerose242000 on Jan 6, 2013 2:50 AM
  2. Quick question...are some of the old Paramount releases from the 1930s and 1940s licensed for DVD distribution to the TCM Vault by Universal, since Universal really doesn't market or effectively sell the never released to home video Paramount stuff they're sitting on?
  3. Does writing Universal Home Entertainment help any? I followed them on Twitter and they thanked me for my suggestions. I'm guessing they only care about things that can be quickly sold like The Man with the X-Ray Eyes. :_| They need a real classics buff in their marketing department! There are a ton of people who would by a Milland or Leisen box set !
  4. Is Universal ever going to consider doing a box set release of Ray Milland's early movies? Would love to see a box set of the stuff from the mid to late thirties and early '40s.. what's taken them so long to bring classics like Arise My Love and Kitty out? Or a Mitch Leisen boxset?
  5. {font:arial, helvetica, sans-serif} Haven't been on the boards in years but wondering if it is possible to vote for DVD release of this film in English. Noticed there was a release in Spain but out of region. The article on the TCM site doesn't have that vote for this to be on DVD as I noticed on some other unreleased films. Posted in war movie thread but not sure it also has elements of romantic comedy. {font}
