Funny though, that the British director should have left "Of Human Bondage" out of the program, especially as it starred their own very wonderful actor, Leslie Howard, and story was based on a W. Somerset Maughm work. O well, guess there is now accounting for tastes. The biography in question was not a real definitive one, anyway, and better more comprehensive ones have no doubt been made. .

Just wondered who in the world decided to make a "biography" of Bette Davis and never mention "Of Human Bondage" (her breakout role)? I just saw this program on TCM and would like to know who made it and what kind of criteria they used. Seems ridiculous to leave out the very film that brought Bette to the notice of the movie going public of the time. Incredible omission!
